The Town of Mishicot was randomly selected as one of hundreds of various municipalities statewide for an audit of voting systems used in the November 5, 2024, election.  This audit is required under Wis. Stat. 7.08(6).  The purpose of the audit is to ensure that the votes tabulated by the equipment are counted accurately and correctly.
